Possibly the world’s best cricketer after Jonty Rhodes

AB de Villiers

South Africa’s limited-overs captain AB de Villiers was a key player in the Delhi Daredevils’ middle order in the first three editions of the IPL. He was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for USD 1.1 million at the IPL Player Auction 2011. One of the most consistent middle-order batsmen in the world, de Villiers has won many matches with his enterprising batting. AB is always on the lookout for runs and is a very good runner between the wickets. A natural striker of the ball, he can also play unorthodox shots. An agile fielder, de Villiers can even keep wicket when necessary.
I have been playing cricket for many years and their have been some great crickets but AB de Villiers is to good for the rest, He i just such a great pressure player.

He is captain of SA, I am Captain of my Local Cricket 20 / 20 squad but i have no pressure like AB de Villiers. His batting has really done the IPl proud.

I just think its stupid having him bat at 5, i know they have Chis Gale at 2 but bring AB de Villiers in at 3 or 4 even if they reall want to take the teams a part this will be a great move for him.

AB de Villiers scored 47 from 17 and won the Match for them, this would never have been done by any other player he is just to good.

Thnaks AB de Villiers for showing us the best that cricket can be.
